「巖谷以創(chuàng)建美好地球?yàn)樵浮?/p>
巖谷自1970年為紀(jì)念創(chuàng)業(yè)40周年發(fā)表企業(yè)標(biāo)語“巖谷以創(chuàng)建美好地球?yàn)樵浮币詠?，把地球饋贈于人類的“氣體&能源”作為事業(yè)的核心來推進(jìn)環(huán)境經(jīng)營。1998年制定了“巖谷集團(tuán)環(huán)境憲章”，整個集團(tuán)都為之努力實(shí)踐。
環(huán)境問題，不僅是防止產(chǎn)業(yè)公害，還有廢棄物、生活廢水造成的水質(zhì)污濁等問題，甚至還有地球變暖、臭氧層破壞等全球性規(guī)模的環(huán)境問題。為此，在遵守“巖谷集團(tuán)環(huán)境憲章”的同時，為取得更大的成果，也致力于強(qiáng)化組織、體制，同時提高員工的意識。

Under our slogan “Creation of a more comfortable space on the Earth is what Iwatani wishes and strives for,” Iwatani strives to achieve solutions to the social challenge of environmental issues and to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by realizing a zero-CO2 society based on hydrogen.
Passed down through the generations as the underpinnings of all our business efforts, Iwatani’s corporate philosophy “Become a person needed by society, as those needed by society can prosper,” calls for continually pursuing satisfaction for society and for individuals. Symbolic of these efforts are the LPG and hydrogen businesses. LPG, which effected a revolution in home fuel use, has significantly reduced the amount of work required of homemakers in the kitchen and become a clean energy source essential to our lives today. Now in use for more than 80 years, hydrogen today is the driving force behind innovations across a wide range of fields; As the ultimate clean energy source, it is essential to building a sustainable society.
Iwatani will continue to contribute to achieving the SDGs and a sustainable society through our business activities.

At Iwatani, we consider a sound understanding of and efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015, essential aspects of identifying materiality. By validating the relationship between each materiality and the 17 Goals and 169 Targets of the SDGs and identifying which SDGs relate to each materiality, the Iwatani Group will contribute to widespread innovations throughout society.
